Just a few menstrual cramps relief tips that I use regularly. When I’m menstruating, I try to sleep as much as possible. I find that it helps me relax, because if I’m stressed it just makes the cramps worse. I also find that, believe it or not, sexual activity that gets me to orgasm really helps my cramps to subside. It has something to do with the contractions in your uterus, but it truly does help the pain and the stress that comes with menstruating. In addition to these things, I try to stay on a regimen of Midol and drink as much water as possible. If I’m dehydrated, my cramps get worse than usual. I also try not to indulge in my cravings for extra food. If I eat too much while I’m on my period, the pain can become unbearable because of the pressure on my uterus and then I get nauseous. I also try not to sit up for too long while I’m menstruating. If I take breaks to lie down, the pain subsides for a while.

Thanks Suzy for sharing your experience. You are right, orgasm can provide relief of menstrual pains to some women, though it might last just for the while.
